The sophomore effort from SSR (Seattle Suicide Riots) picks up right where the first album left off, with perhaps even moodier and darker production from Rob Castro, then adorned by Hyena, darker and moodier, yet. Featuring raps from Rob Castro on 2 songs and a guest appearance from Onry Ozzborn, The Rush Before You Die is classic northwest broodiness mixed with samples from Twin Peaks and George Carlin, who had just passed during the recording of these tracks. These 6 songs make for a quick, but dark dip into the shadows.
